Dental Clinic Management System : Dental software provides easy access of the data in advanced and ordered fashion. The software maintains individual patient account ledgers for each treatment.

Also includes appointment schedule. It is easy to search and retrieve the information stored, related to patients. Previous medical records are used to manage documents of patients visited earlier.

It includes complete reporting system and helps to build the Dental Case Reports. Helps to store images. Advanced document management system to manage the documents of patients.

3.Project Description:

Dental Software is designed and built to meet all the requirements of a dental clinic and to help the dentist in managing their clinics in an effective manner. With just a few clicks the user can schedule faster, record treatment plans easier, simplify billing.

Our project aims at creating an application which will automate the process in Dental Software. Using this it is possible to keep a track of a database for clinic like information about the patient like appointment schedule, personal records, previous medical records, treatment records, prescriptions, case reports and images. The dental software is used for collecting, managing, saving, and retrieving medical information for the patients, and for creating reports for the patients. Patient records are used by the dentists in order to organize the records of the patients in their practice.

The dental imaging, defines software used for creating, processing, viewing and storing dental X-Rays, intra and extra-oral images.

5.Structure of the program:

   5.1.Advantage:

The software is used in dental clinic to maintain the records of patients in advanced fashion  instead of paper document.

And the systemic alert module of this software gives the treatment details of the patient for their different deseases which is given by the different specialists which helps the doctor to treat their patient in a best way.

It also includes appointment schedule. It is easy to search and retrieve the information stored, related to patients when the patient visited more than once. So that the time required for searching the paper documents of the patient  will be  saved. Previous medical records is used to manage documents of patients visited earlier.

6.Module Description :

6.1. Login:

This module gives the option to login for the receptionist and the admin to use other module. Here receptionist and admin passing his/her username and password.

Here there are two types of user.

Ø  Admin:

She/he will be having all the control of clinic and password for the receptionist will be  given by admin itself and admin can view all the records of the clinic.

Ø  Doctor:

She/he will be treating the patients and will be entering the treatment details.

Ø  Receptionist:

She/he will give the appointment to the patients for the treatment.

6.2. Appointment Management:

It gives the option for the receptionist and admin to schedule the appointment for the patients with particular doctor with respect to the treatment.

6.3. New patient Info Management:

It gives the option to include all the details of the new patient.

Ø  Personal Info Management: It includes the personal details of the patient such as name, address, age, contact number; E-mail id, Blood group etc…of the patient who comes to the clinic for first time.

Ø  Medical: It gives the option to include the previous treatment details of a patient who is having different diseases and the medical reports regarding the patient’s diseases who visited the different specialist.

Ø  Dental: It gives the option to provide identification of how many teeth of a particular patient is having problem when the patient comes to the clinic for treatment.

6.4. Treatment:

It gives the option to include the treatment detail i.e. if a patient has a problem with more than one tooth then the treatment will be given for only one tooth at a time and appointment for the treatment of remaining teeth which is having problem will be given.

6.5. Payment:

It gives the option for the admin to include the payment details of the creditor who provides materials and medicines for the treatment to the clinic.

                      6.6. Search:

It gives the option to search the records such as personal details, medical problems, treatment details etc. of the patients who visited earlier to the dental clinic.

7.Any other information :

The definition and maintainance of the database is done through the SQL server 2008 user interface.

8.Future scope of the Project :

Implementing, sending the reports through mail to the patients. And helps the doctor to maintain the best relationship with their patients.And the patients can be able to take online appointments.
