We are a single dentist practice that converted in September. The conversion went smooth, the system is very user friendly. Anything that we can't figure out is easily and promptly answered by their support staff. Even on Saturdays and Holidays.

Pros: very user friendly yet has the capability to provide what we need.

Cons: Have not run across anything yet!

About Open Dental :

Open Dental is an open source dental practice management software  that includes on-premise electronic charting, billing, practice management and imaging applications that are suitable for both large and small dental practices. Prescribing capabilities include e-prescribing and printed prescriptions, which can be filled in using predefined templates. Prescriptions are automatically logged and can be reviewed using a specially created report.
